Deloris M Rodgers, 71

East Liverpool- Deloris M. Rodgers, 71 of Erie Street, died at 7:35 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29, 2003 at home following a lengthy illness.

Born in East Liverpool, Feb. 20, 1932, daughter of Clarence Oliver Adams and Mary Helen Buchanan Adams, she was a lifelong resident of the area. Employed at the Hall China Co. for 23 years, she served as foreman for 13 years.

Her husband, Elize J. Rodgers, whom she married July 2, 1949, died Jan. 20, 1982. A sister, Ruth A. Dalrymple, died Nov. 13, 1999, and a brother, Charles J. Adams, died Feb. 8, 1966.

Two daughters, Mary E. Rodgers at home and Mrs. James (Lorrie D.) Stewart of East Liverpool, survive along with two sons, Jerry C. Rodgers of Liberal, Kan., and Bill Rodgers of White, GA.

There are five grandchildren, Jason, Jamie and Megan Rodgers and Courtney and Lindsey Stewart, and two great grandchildren, Bret and Tyler Rodgers.

Friends may call Thursday at the Dawson Funeral Home, where the family will be present from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

Pastor Richard Halsey of the Boyce Methodist Church will conduct services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
