Yvonne Marie Talay, 80, was taken to her heavenly home on Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012.
She lived with and is survived by her sister Tammy Lippert and her brother-in-law Steve Lippert, of Huron. She also loved and enjoyed her niece Deborah (Lippert) Gillen, and her husband Jeff Gillen, and their children, Stephanie, Brittany and Jacob.
She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church, Scheid Road. Yvonne enjoyed and was involved in the Women’s Circle. She was an avid puzzle enthusiast and accomplished in sketching portraits. She enjoyed many and varied activities with her girl friends, the Friday night gang.
Friends will be received 5-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, at Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, where a service of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18. The Rev. Ralph Schibler will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Bogart Road, Huron.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Alternative Care Center, 10 Harbour Parkway, Sandusky or Zion Lutheran Church, 930 Main St., Huron, OH 44839.
