YOUNGSTOWN – A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled Tuesday for Mrs. Isabell Tamburrini, 74, of 424 Wilton Ave. who died Friday at 7:30 p.m at the Youngstown Osteopathic Hospital where she had been a patient two months.
She was born in Youngstown Dec. 31, 1912, a daughter of the late Anthony Popio and Madeline Rondonelli Popio.
she was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, its Ladies Guild and Senior Citizens group. Her husband, Michael a. Tamburrini, whom she married June 23, 1927, died June 5, 1977.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Joseph A. Tamburrini of the Youngstown /diocese, who formerly served the Saint Ann Catholic Church in the East End of East Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Madeline West of Youngstown and Mrs. Gloria Jean Porfilio of Campbell, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Philomena Cardarelli, Mrs. Mary Pearce and Mrs. Antoinette Calcagni of Youngstown; two brothers, Joseph Popio of Girard, Ohio and John Popio of Youngstown; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The Mass is planned at 10 a.m. at the Youngstown church. Burial is to b in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave.
