LoveVurn Calvin (Baldy) Tatsch, Sr., 73, of Wolf Run Road, Industry, died Sunday, October 16, 1977, in the East Liverpool Extended Care Facility, following an extended illness.
Born April 30, 1904 in Brush Creek, Pa, son of the late John and Lillian Tatsch, he was a retired employee of the Pittsburgh Bridge and Iron Co., North Rochester and formerly associated with the National Guard Unit, Company B. New Brighton.
Surviving are his widow, Adeline Grant Tatsch; four sons, John S., Freedom, LaVerne C., Jr., Hazelwood, Charles A. Midland and Anthony F., at home; two daughters, Mrs. Franklin (Rosemary) Patton, Industry and Mrs. Clinton (Linda) Stowers, Midland; 21 grandchildren, two brothers, Robert Tatsch, Rochester and James Tatsch, Hollidaysburg, Pa; and two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Rosepink, Rochester Township and Mrs. Walter (Bessie) Shotsinger, Patterson Township.
Friends will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the WILLIAM A. MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 349 Adams Street, Rochester, where a service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. by Rev. William Glunt, pastor of the Assembly of God church, Midland.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Industry.
