CHESTER – Margaret K. Tenney, 80, formerly of Aliquippa, died Sunday, May. 20, 2001, in Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Mabie, W. Va., June 13, 1920, a daughter of the late Isaac W. and Lelah Ware.
She was a former member of the Community Bible Church in Aliquippa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl S. Tenney.
She is survived by three sons, Everett S. Tenney of Roseville, Calif., David C. Tenney of Bloomsburg, N. J., and Jerry N. Tenney of New Cumberland; two brothers, Gaylord Ware and Ralph Ware of Aliquippa; two sisters, Arlene Howes and Emma Jean Santee of Fredricktown; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 a.m. Thursday at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon, W.Va. Burial will be in Lorentz Cemetery in Lorentz, W.Va.
Friends may call at the Welch Funeral Home in Hookstown from 7 to 9 tonight and at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
