Mrs. Eliza Todd, wife of John A. Todd died at her home on West Water street, this city Thursday evening (June 22, 1911) of inflammation of the nerves. More than two years ago the deceased was stricken with paralysis and since that time she has been unable to walk or help herself in many ways, although she was not confined to her bed until about a month ago.

Deceased was born in New York state and was in the 75th year of her age. When a young woman she came with her parents to Cleveland, where she was united in marriage with John A. Todd and later they located in this county, living for a number of years at Rogers and Columbiana, coming from the latter place to Lisbon ten years ago. Besides the aged husband she is survived by three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Geo. Chamberlain, of Lisbon, Mrs. Baker Westover, near New Waterford, Mrs. W. S. Baker and Frank Todd, of Columbiana, and Will Todd, of East Fairfield.

The funeral will take place from the home at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, Rev. F. I. Dunbar of the Methodist Episcopal church, of which deceased was for many years a member, officiating, and interment will be made in the Lisbon cemetery.
