EAST LIVERPOOL — Ramona J. Treadway, 7-67 of McKinnon Avenue, died at 3:43 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001, at the Beaver Medical Center, Beaver, Pa., of an apparent stroke following a lengthy illness. Born on March 3, 1934, in Belington, W. Va., she was the daughter of the late Orion G. and Virginia Hulderman Simpson and had been raised by her late aunt Genivie Simpson.

She lived most of her life in East Liverpool and had worked for nine years at National Church supply and then for 17 years as a school bus driver in the Beaver Local School District.

A graduate of the East Liverpool High School in 1953, she was an active member of the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association. As a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, she was active in the United Methodist Women and was on the church board at one time. She was also a member of the Social Order of the Beauceants and TOPS 1390.

Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. James (Catherine) Johnson of Lisbon; and three granddaughters, Amber Rohm, Codee and Cadee Johnson.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Dawson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evening by the Social Order of the Beauceants. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p. m. Thursday, Oct. 4, with the Rev. Wayne Standley and Rev. William Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center immediately following the service.
