Charles O. Weaver Funeral Planned For Tuesday
Charles O. Weaver, former East Liverpool news stand and cigar store owner, died suddenly of a heart attack Friday at 3 p.m. in the plant of the Hall China Co. in Klondyke. He was 70. Mr. Weaver conducted a store on East Sixth st. near Washington st., for about 20 years, disposing of the business because of ill health. He was born in Irondale, a son of John and Lydia Weaver, and spent most of his life in East Liverpool. He sold automobiles for several years and was employed as shipping clerk at the Hall China Co. for the past three years. He resided at 303 Thompson ave. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and of the Maccabees. Mr. Weaver leaves his widow, Mrs. Nellie A. Weaver; two daughters, Mrs. C. F. Adam of East Liverpool, and Mrs. Francis D. Irwin of Santa Anna, Calif.; one sister, Miss Mary M. Weaver of East Liverpool, and two grandchildren. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Dawson funeral home by Rev. Arthur E. French Jr., acting pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery. Friends may call Sunday and Monday nights at the funeral home.
