MRS. FLORA WELLS AGED 60 DEAD

MRS. FLORA G. WELLS, aged 60, wife of John A. Wells, and a highly esteemed resident of Chester, died at 3:30 o’clock yesterday morning at her home in Florida avenue, following a few hours’ illness.
The deceased was in her usual health apparently, when she retired for the night. She became ill shortly after midnight and died several hours later.
Mrs. Wells was born in Quincy, Ill., on August 11, 1859. She came to this vicinity when she was but two years of age. She was united in marriage with John Wells on February 22, 1880. She was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian church.
Besides her husband, deceased is survived by the following six children: Charles of Cleveland; Logan of Chester and Misses Bess, Eva, May and Grace, all at home. Two brothers, James and Jess Pugh, both of Chester; and one sister, Mrs. Joseph Ba?ey, of East Liverpool, also are living.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon, Rev. Frederick Cromer, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, and Rev. Paul L. Reynolds, pastor of the First United Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be made in Locust Hill cemetery.
