ELIAS WILLISON, aged 73, of Newell, veteran of Civil war, died this morning in the City hospital. Death was due to paralysis.
ELIAS WILLISON AGED 73, DEAD
Funeral services over the body of the late ELIAS WILLISON, aged 73 years, who died yesterday afternoon at 5 o’clock at the East Liverpool City hospital as a result of a paralytic stroke, will be held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon from the Cn N. Miller undertaking establishment on West Sixth street, East Liverpool. Adjutant Abrams of the Salvation Army, will officiate. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
The deceased was a veteran of the Civil war, having served the last year of the conflict with Co. I, 179th Ohio Volunteer Infantry. He had been a resident of Chester, living with his daughter, Mrs. W. M. Schuman, before being taken to the hospital.
The following children survive: Mrs. Elizabeth Schuman of Chester; Mrs. Mary Fox of Sistersville; Mrs. Sarah Patterson of Moundsville; Rev. W. R. A. Willison of Monudsville. One brother, George Willison of Belaire, also survives.
General Lyon post No. 44, G. A. R. , will meet Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock to attend the funeral. Garfield camp, Sons of Veterans, will also take part in the services.
