Solomon Wolf, aged 85 years, died at his home in Smiths Ferry, Pa., from infirmities of old age. He has been sick abed since last fall. Mr. Wolf is survived by his wife and nine children, five sons and four daughters, Sarah, Jane Taddis, of Enon Valley; Rachel Wilson, of Pittsburg; Joseph Wolf, of Smiths Ferry; Daniel Wolf, Smiths Ferry; Maria Beatty, East End; Mary Wright, East End; Peter Wolf, of Bell school house, Thomas Wolf, East End; Caroline McCray, East End. Services today at 1 p.m. Interment at Long’s Run cemetery.

Solomon Wolf, aged 93 years, one of the most prominent and aged residents of the vicinity of Smiths Ferry, Pa., died at his late home along Beaver creek at 11 o’clock Sunday night (June 11, 1911), death being due to a complication of diseases and infirmities attendant upon old age.

Besides his wife, deceased is survived by four sons and five daughters, and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Cochran of Dry Run, aged 100 years, and Mrs. Mary Dillon of East End, aged 97.

Funeral services over the remains will be held at 10 o’clock this morning, Rev. J. A. Hamilton of the Methodist Episcopal church of Smiths Ferry, officiating. Interment will be made in the Longs Run cemetery.
