AMHERST, Ohio – ELIZABETH MARIE, 82, of 830 S. Lake St., Amherst, formerly of Hancock County, W. Va., died at 2:02 a.m. Monday at the Lorain Community Hospital in Lorain following a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 25, 1911, in Hancock County, the daughter of the late Otmer and Bertha Jane Deem Casto, and had resided in Hancock County most of her life before moving to Amherst in 1988.
A homemaker, Mrs. Wright was a member of the South Amherst United Methodist Church. Her husband, Davis John Wright died in 1987.
She is survived by two sons, John D. Wright of Amherst and Robert O. Wright of Elliot, Maine; and a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Patricia Jean) Kennedy of Lake City, Fla.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Howard Castro, and a sister, Bertha Jane Burlingame.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Arner Funeral Chapel with Dan Gallagher of the East Liverpool Second Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.
