Richard G. (Dick) Wright, of Middle Run Road, Chester passed away on Thurs., Sept. 1 at home.
He was born November 2, 1937 in Greene Township, PA, a son of the late Alvie J. Wright Sr. and Thelma Campbell Wright.
He retired form J&L Steel, Aliquippa Works.
Dick was a past member of the Southside Sportsman’s Club and the Hookstown-Hancock Tractor Pullers Assoc.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife Geraldine Wright; a brother, Jay Wright; a sister, Barbara Wilson; and a niece, Joanna Olsen Long.
Dick is survived by his long time companion, Lois McGaffic; four sons, Richard L. (arol) Wright and Donald F. (Jo) Wright, all of Houston; Brian E (Dana) Wright of Katy, TX; and Richard Campbell of Floral City, FL; three daughters, Marilyn Campbell (Vic) Wolfe of Salineville; Christine McGaffic (Todd) Temple of Hookstown; and Kimberly McGaffic (T0m) Smith of House Springs, MS; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
IN addition a special niece, Diannne Wilson and two special nephews, Denzil and David Wilson also survive.
Minister Tom Arehart presided over funeral services at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, September 6, at 11:00 a.m.. Interment followed at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown.
