EAST LIVERPOOL – Services will be held Friday for Carl E. Cline, 77, who died Monday, March 29, 2004.
He was born April 1, 1926, in Chester, a son of the late Wilbur J. and Mary Seevers Cline.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a retired crane operator with Patterson Industry.
He was preceded in death by a son, William Cline and a daughter, Carol Cline.
He is survived by eight daughters, Darlene Jones, and Janet H. Dennis of East Liverpool, Norva Carlson, Lucindy Tabor, Edith Tyler and Wanda Fuqua of Idaho, Eva Ruth Hughes of Washington state, and Evelyn Ramages of Florida; a sister, Shirley Moore of Oregon; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Howard McConkey will conduct the services at 11 a.m. at the Newell Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home. The Tri-State Veterans Burial Group will accord military honors at Shadow Lawn Memory Gardens in Newell.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
