TORONTO – Raymond T. Connolly, age 90 of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Kensington Place, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born June 10, 1922 in East Liverpool, Ohio the son of the late Raymond V. and Ruth I Poole Connolly.
He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church of Toronto an was a 1940 graduate of Toronto High School.
Mr. Connolly served in the U.S. Army in the Pacific Theatre of Operation during World War II.
He retired as President from the Voto Manufacturers Sales Company in Steubenville, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Jane A. Grubbs Connolly; daughter, Nancy Rini of Columbus, Ohio; 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be form 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 11 at the St. Francis Catholic Church 1225 N. River Ave., Toronto. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Reverend Father Thomas Vennitti officiating. Interment will follow at the Toronto Union Cemetery. There will be full military graveside honors by the Toronto American Legion.
