SALINEVILLE = John Anthony Dangelo, 90, passed away at his home early Sunday morning, June 8, 2013.
Born June 22, 1922 in Summitville, he was a son of the late Patsy and Angeline Carlone Dangelo.
HE worked as a mill operator at Summitville Tile for more than 40 years.
Mr. Dangelo serve in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of St. John Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey Ellen Dailey Dangelo; 3 children; John A. Dangelo of Mt. Vernon, Barbara Anne Hogue of Highlandtown, and Dennis J. Dangelo of Salineville; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers,, Ralph Dangelo of Salineville, Pete Dangelo of Summitvile, and Jim Dangelo of Salineville.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Marie Dangelo.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrate by the Rev. James Lang 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Catholic Church. Burial with military honors provided by the Salineville American Legion Post 442will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Calling hours are fro 5to 8 p.m. Monday at the Weber Funeral Home.
