Obituary – Clarence O Adams

Clarence O Adams, 65, of 2204 Crawford Ave., died Tuesday at 2:35 p.m. in City Hospital following a three-week illness.
He was born Jan. 10, 1910, in St. Mary’s, W. Va., a son of Joseph Adams and Bertha Bailey Adams, but had resided in East Liverpool most of his life. Mr. Adams retired in 1973 from the Taylor, Smith and Taylor Co., at Chester and was an honorary member of the IBPAW.
His wife, Mrs. Helen Buchanan Adams, whom he married Feb. 2, 1931, survives at home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Elzie (Deloris) Rodgers and Mrs. William (Ruth) Dalrymple, both of East Liverpool, and Mrs. James (Norma) Rodgers of Hammonsdville; a son, Clarence George Adams of Toronto; three sisters, Mrs. John (Lucille) Lori and Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Hales, both of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. James (Jean) Click of Warren; two brothers, George Adams of East Liverpool and Dudley Adams of Warren; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. Theodore Nusser. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight and Thursday afternoon and night.
