NEW WATERFORD – Jack D. Adams, 73, of State Route 7 passed away at 6:38 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.
He was born Aug. 9, 1930, in Lisbon, son of the late Earl C. and Martha M. (Oberholtzer) Adams.
He retired from the Ohio Turnpike Commission. He attended the Centenary United Methodist Church of East Palestine.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nola A. (Doran) Adams.
He is survived by a daughter, Cassandra L. Walters of New Waterford; a son, Goeffrey L. Hunt of Hesperia, Calif., sisters, Ruth Roberts of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Carol (Bassinger) Chismar of Canfield; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ronald Spore officiating. Burial at Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be form 6 to 8 p.m. today.
