HENRY NIXON ALLISON
Henry Nixon Allison, 85, died Thursday, March 23, 1950 at 8 p.m., in his home in Georgetown, following a long illness. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ada McClurg Allison; three daughters, Mrs. Bell Morrow, Shippingport; Mrs. Helen McCombs, Weirton, W. Va.; Mrs. Mary A. Wright, Chester, W. Va.; six sons, Homer M., Charles F. and John Allison, all of Shippingport; Archie A. Allison, Hookstown; Harry G. Allison, Georgetown; Frank Allison, at home; two half-brothers, Francis Nash, Georgetown; Thomas Bryan, Georgetown; also 26 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday and Saturday evenings in the home of his son, Archie A. Allison, Hookstown, where funeral services will be held Sunday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. Calvin Weimer, pastor of the Chester, W. Va., Presbyterian Church. Interment will take place in Mill Creek Cemetery. The Stewart Funeral Home, Hookstown, is in charge.
