Obituary – Mrs. James Arter

Mrs. James Arter died Sunday (May 14, 1911) at her home two miles south of Lisbon on the Steubenville road, following an illness of three years, of consumption. Deceased came to this township with her husband about a year ago, after the death of her sister, Mrs. Rice, and was well known in the neighborhood in which she lived. She was born in Rostrader, Pa., September 19, 1871, and was a daughter of Abram Rupert, a well-known resident of that village. She is survived by her husband and five small children. The time of the funeral has not yet been set, but interment will be made in the Lisbon cemetery.
