Washington R. Baker, 76, formerly of East Liverpool, died Monday at 4 p.m., in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Soehulen in Canton.

Mr. Baker, who was born in Beaver County, Pa., was a member of Pennova lodge No. 880, Odd Fellows, and he National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.

He leaves five sons, Earl C., Lester L, and Charles W. baker of East Liverpool; Taylor S. Baker of Barberton and Reed S. Baker of Alliance, and three other daughters, Mrs. John L. Reed of Clarksburg, W. Va.; Mrs. Herbert Hood of East Liverpool and Mrs. Walter McDevitt of Wellsville, and a brother Jesse R. Baker of Holliday’s Cove, W. Va.

Funeral services will be held in the Miller funeral home, West Sixth street, Thursday at 2 p.m., in charge of Dr. J. H. Lawther, pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends are asked to call at the Miller parlors Wednesday night.
