WEIRTON – John (Shag) Bartolovich, 44, of 336 N. 10th St., died Sunday in Weirton General Hospital.

Mr. Bartolovich, a World War II, veteran, was employed at Weirton Steel Co. He was a member of St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Helen Doboski Bartolovich; his mother, Mrs. Agnes Bartolovich, of Weirton; three daughters, Miss Helen Bartolovich and Miss Donna Bartolovich, both of Downing, Calif., and Miss Barbara Bartolovich, at home; a son, John M. Bartolovich Jr., at home; a brother Joseph Bartolovich of Weirton and five sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Ann) Stanich, Mrs. Catherine Altomore, Mrs. Fred (Rose) Barnabei, Mrs. Victor (Mary) Selestay and Mrs. John (Barbara) Pete, all of Weirton.

Friends may call at the Schwerha Mortuary after 7 tonight; Rosary, Tuesday, 7 p.m., by Knights of Columbus, Msgr. D.P. Murphy Council, and Holy Name Society of St. Paul’s Church; Requiem High Mass, Wednesday, 9 a.m., St. Paul’s Church; Rev. Fr. Peter J. Teigue; St. Paul’s Cemetery; graveside services by American Legion Post 10 and VFW Post 2716.
