Lawrence Boyd, 67, widely known framer of Yellow Creek township, died Monday (May 20, 1935) in his home in the Wellsville-Salineville road.

Mr. Boyd was born in Washington county, Pa., a son of the late Pressley and Nancy Hanlin Boyd. He lived in the township 62 years and was an elder of the Oak Ridge Presbyterian church.

He leaves his widow, Mrs. Adda Boyce Boyd; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth B. Close of Yellow Creek township; a son, B. Walter Boyd, at home; four brothers, Frank of Highlandtown; Elvie of Madison township; Robert and Alfred G., of Yellow Creek township, and three sisters, Mrs. George Clark of Highlandtown; Mrs. W. S. McBane of Liverpool township and Miss Ella K. Boyd of Yellow Creek township, and a granddaughter, Mary Dale Close.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m., in the Oak Ridge Presbyterian church in charge of Rev. S. W. Young. Burial will be made in the Oak Ridge cemetery
