J. Philmon Dornon, 64, formerly of W. 4th St. and a retired potter, died Wednesday (January 25, 1967) at 4 p.m. at Salem City Hospital, where he had been a patient for some time.

A native of Wellsville, Mr. Dornon was born June 2 1902, a son of the late Daniel M. Dornon and Almira Clark Dornon. He last worked as a batterout at the Homer Laughlin China co. He was a member of IBOP. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. John Gilmore of North Kenova, Ohio, and Mrs. Lilly Brown of East Liverpool, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home by the Rev. M. F. King of the First Church of God. Burial will be in Yellow Creek United Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
