Retired Coal Miner Dies
Salineville Man’s Rites To Be Monday
Salineville – Louis L. Earl of West End, a retired coal miner, died Friday (January 31, 1958) at 2:30 p. m. at City Hospital, where he had been a patient for a week. He was 71.
Mr. Earl was born here Nov. 25, 1886, a son of the late John and Mary Earl. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Rachel Earl at home; three sons, Gillis Earl and Joseph Earl, both of Salineville, and Glenn Earl of Leetonia; a daughter, Miss Orvetta Earl at home; three brothers, Emmor Earl of Salineville, Oliver Earl of Shippenville, Pa., and Jefferson Earl of Fontana, Calif., and 12 grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. at the Kerr Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald Archer. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home today and Sunday.
