ESTEEMED WOMAN CALLED BY DEATH

MRS. RAY EVANS, aged 36, one of the best known resident of Hancock county, died at 4 o’clock yesterday morning at her home in New Cumberland, following a two-weeks’ illness of a complication of diseases.
The deceased was born and raised in New Cumberland and has lived there throughout her life. She was a member of the First Methodist Protestant church and was president of the Peace and Good Will club, a New Cumberland church organization.
Beside her husband, Mrs. Evans is survived by five children, Jean, Marcella, Mary, Leslie and Lynn all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Marquet; one sister, Mrs. Charles Foreman of New Cumberland, and two brothers, Oscar L. Marquet of Steubenville and George Marquet of Hookstown.
Funeral arrangements had not been completed last evening although it was said burial would be made Saturday in the New Cumberland cemetery.
