YOUNGSTOWN – Wilbert “Will” E. Ewing, Jr. of Youngstown, formerly of Wellsville, died May 13, 2013 at his son’s home.
Will was born Sept. 25, 1948 in East Liverpool. He was the son of the late Wilbert E. Ewing, Sr. and Dorothy “Mattern” Ewing Rouzzo and step-father Robert “Bo” Rouzzo.
Will served in the US Navy 6 years on the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier. He became an Eagle Scout in troop 59 through Yellow Creek Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his loving companion, Correne “Cory” Smith of Youngstown; his children, Virginia Reed of Perris, Calif,; April Fox of East Liverpool and Levi Ewing of Youngstown; sisters, Cherry Taylor of Illinois and Mary Martin of Smithfield, Ohio; brothers, Terry Ewing of Toronto and Paul Ewing of Wellsville; 5 grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother Dale Ewing.
A private memorial service for the immediate family will be held.
Staton-Borowski Funeral Home of Warren, Ohio was in charge of the arrangements.
