Edgar Figley, 444 W. 4th St., former blacksmith at the Milliron Co., died at City Hospital this morning at 9:20 after an illness of seven years. He was 85. Born Aug. 9, 1871, at Cannons Mills, he was a son of David and Alice Green Figley, and resided all his life in this vicinity. He was a blacksmith at Milliron’s for 26 years. He was a member of the Longs Run Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons, Frank Figley, Donald Figley, and William Figley, all of East Liverpool; two daughters, Mrs. Nora Massey and Mrs. Dora Clark, both of East Liverpool; a brother, Claude Figley, of East Liverpool, and 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday morning at 10 at the Martin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Friday at the funeral home.
