Services were held Tuesday for Emil Flara, 82, of Georgetown, Pa., who died on Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center-Beaver Valley.
He was born in Italy on May 18, 1915, a son of the late Ralph and Anna Flara.
Mr. Flara was a retired shear-man from the No. 2 Mill of the former Crucible Steel Company Division of Colt Industries. He was a member of the St. Blaise Parish and a charter member of the St. Anthony Club of Midland.
His wife, Rosa Majestic Flara, died on Nov. 3, 1983.
He is survived by a son, John A. Flara of Midland Heights; as sister, Elvira Lerussi of Leesburg, Fla.; and three brothers, Gino Flara of Midland and John and Tony Flara of East Liverpool.
The Rev. Dennis J. Bradley was celebrant of a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the St. Blaise Parish in Midland. Burial was to be in Beaver Cemetery.
