J. F. Gallagher, 81 pioneer Beaver county resident, died as his home five miles southeast of Hookstown, Pa., Saturday at noon after a two weeks’ illness. He was a member of the Hookstown Presbyterian Church.
Besides his wife, Hester, Mr. Gallagher leaves four daughters, Mrs. Charles William of Georgetown, Mrs. C. B. King of Bellvue, Pa., Mrs L. A, Doughty, of Coraopolis, Pa.: and Mrs. W. L. Ingles of New Galilee, Pa.; a brother, George of Kansas City, Mo.; a half-sister, Mrs. Sara Morrow of Coraopolis, six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at the home Tuesday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. J. G. Reed, pastor of the Hookstown Presbyterian church. Burial will be made in Mill Creek cemetery.
