Obituary – William Ginther

William Ginther, aged 26, formerly of this city, died yesterday morning (July 6, 1911) at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ginther, in Pomeroy. The deceased is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Mary Haugh of Wellsville, his parents, and two brothers, Frank and Daniel, both of Pomeroy. Mrs. James Kenney and Carl Haugh will attend the funeral.
The deceases was a machinist, and during his six years’ residence in Wellsville was employed at the C. & P. shops. It was during his residence here that he met and married Miss Haugh. He was a member of the German Lutheran church and of the Odd Fellows, and was a most estimable young man.
Suffering from spinal trouble, Mr. Ginther was compelled to give up his occupation. He was for 11 months a patient in the Allegheny General hospital, Pittsburg. Later on he became a patient at the Mt. Carmel hospital, Columbus, and underwent an operation there.
