DEATH CLAIMS J. H. GITCHELL
Esteemed Citizen Passed away at 10O’Clock Sunday Night
After Long Illness
Death has claimed another esteemed citizen of Wellsville. JH. H. Gitchell passed away at 10 o’clock Sunday night (November 19, 1911) at his home on White street, following a long illness from a complication of diseases.
Mr. Gitchell is survived by his wife and the following children, all at home: Olive B., Grace F., Clark D., Ray L., Edmund J. and Florence M. One sister, Mrs. Mary M Robertson of Ponchatula, La., also survives.
Deceased was a member of Fourteenth Street Church of Christ and the Knights of the Golden Eagle. He was last employed at the Rowe furniture store. He was born in Chatsworth, Ill,. January 27, 1887.
The funeral services will be held at 1:30 o’clock tomorrow afternoon from the home, Rev. E. A. Bosworth of Alliance, and Rev. E. P. Wise of East Liverpool, officiating. Interment will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
