MRS. OLIVE GLENN

Mrs. Olive Glenn, 841 Phoenix Ave., Chester, widow of William S. Glenn, died Sunday at 7:55 p.m. at City Hospital, after an illness of two weeks. She was 76.

Mrs. Glenn was born at Gas Valley, Hancock County, April 13, 1888, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Patterson and lived in the vicinity all her life. She was a dipper’s helper at the Taylor Smith & Taylor Co., retiring in 1960. She was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church of Chester.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Deborah Poole and Mrs. Dorothy Holtzman, both of Chester; a brother, J. Mont Patterson of Steubenville, and 12 grandchildren. Her husband died July 22, 1942.

Services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Chester Arner Funeral Chapel by the Rev. C. Donald Vogel, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church of Chester. Burial will be in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Hookstown.

Friends may call at the chapel tonight and Tuesday.
