Clem Green, 77, formerly of Fredericktown, died Saturday at 7 p.m. in City Hospital following several months’ illness. Mr. Green resided in recent years on a farm on the old Salineville road near Wellsville, but spent most of his life in Fredericktown. He was employed by the Riggs Co. for about 20 years, retiring last December. He leaves his widow Mrs. Geneva Green; a sister, Mrs. Mary Dailey, and three brothers, Bert Green, Harry Green and Charles Green, all of Fredericktown. Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Haugh funeral home in Wellsville by Rev. Harold Mitchell, pastor of the Wellsville Free Methodist church. Burial will be in the Calcutta United Presbyterian cemetery. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 10 p.m. at the funeral home.
Note: Clem was the son of Arthur and Mary McFarland Green.
