Mrs. Rebecca K. Green, 118 E. Pine St., died at 12:10 a.m. today at the Graystone Nursing Home, in Wellsville, where she had been a patient since June 18. She was 87. Mrs. Green had been in failing health for several years and fell at her home June 10 and was confined to Salem City Hospital until removed to the nursing home. Born Dec. 21, 1870, in Wayne Township, a daughter of Joshua and Rachal Rice Patterson, she spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was married to Harvey Arthur Green, who died in 1941. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Green is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Geneva G. Hult and Mrs. Velma Shattuck of Lisbon and Mrs. Olive L. Gould of Cleveland Heights; two sons, Ralph H. Green of Lake Cable, near Canton, and Louis H. Green of Manhattan Beach, Calif., and five grandchildren. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Eells-Leggett Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul T. Gerrard. Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
