Evelyn McCanna Guthrie, 85, of White Twp., died Friday, April 5, 2013, in her residence.
Born March 19, 1928, in East Brady, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Virginia (Burnett) McCanna and the wife of the late Clarence W. Guthrie.
Surviving are three children, Lanny K. Guthrie and his wife Diane of Lake Worth, FL, Dana L. Guthrie, Beaver Falls, and Cynthia R. Wright and her husband Robert, East Palestine, OH; a grandson, Cory T. Wright, Erie, PA; two granddaughters, Heidi M. Swing and her husband, Jack, Lake Worth, FL, and Dana M. Guthrie, Beaver Falls; six great-grandchildren, Dakoda N. Wright, Maysie M. Wright, Payton Robey, Kristina Wright, and Jeremiah and Josiah Swing; two sisters, Lois Simpson, Sligo, PA, and Rose Harmon, Lower Burrell, PA; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack L. and Jan McCanna, Milan, IL, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Thelma McCanna, Reatha Hock and Geraldine Elliott; two brothers, Richard and Ronald McCanna, and a grandson, Jerry L. Wright.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the CAMPBELL’S BEAVER FALLS FUNERAL HOME, 14th Street and Eighth Avenue, http://www.campbellfuneralhomes.com, where funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Reverend David Alleman officiating.
Interment will follow in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Twp.
