Alvin Jackson Dies From Heart Attack

Alvin Earl Jackson, 51, of Third St. Ext., Chester, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday at 4 p.m. while in the A. & P. super-market. He was pronounced dead at City Hospital.

A caster for the Steubenville Pottery Co., he was born in Hancock County, where he spent his lifetime. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, the First Babptist Church and the IBOP. His wife, Mrs. Mary Jackson died May 27.

He leaves a son, Kenneth Eugene Jackson, and a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Harns of Chester; his father, Thomas Jackson, and two brothers, Joseph Jackson and Frank Jackson, all of Wellsville, and five Grandchildren.

Rites will be held Sunday at 2p.m. in the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the rev. William L. Brown. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call tonight and Saturday night at the funeral chapel.
