Jacob D. Javens, 48, World War Veteran, formerly of Rochester and Freedom, and or some years past a resident of the Soldiers Home in Dayton, OH, died last week in the Niami Hospital near Dayton of injuries received when struck by an automobile in Dayton. He was born in Rochester and served in the World War, was gassed, wounded and shell-shocked. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Lovena Littell of 433 Clay Street, Rochester and Mrs. Clara Kelly of Pittsburgh, and one brother Clarence D. Javens of Beaver Falls.
