KASER, Maywood W., 82, of New Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013.

He was born March 10, 1930 in Moscow, WV., a son of the late Thelma Kaser Weaver.

Maywood first worked at Crescent Brick, then for Crucible and last worked as a truck driver at Harry Evans Trucking.

Surviving are his loving wife, Imogene Eddy Kaser of New Cumberland; two sons, Danny (Sharon) Kaser of New Cumberland, and Larry (Anna Marie) Kaser of Weirton; four grandchildren, Scott (Melissa) Kaser, Lisa (Ryan) Moore, Amy (Steve) Six, Holly (Doug) Siegel; two step-grandchildren, Erica (Lee) Risler and Jonathan Barney; seven great-grandchildren, Elisabeth, Karis, Carson, Kinley, Brianna, Jordyn, and Caiden; six sisters, Shirley Alexander, Dorothy Kistler, Nancy Stout, Helen Vance, Darlene Blanton and Bonnie Kopec all of Ohio; and a brother, Frank Weaver of Iowa.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Nixon Funeral Home in Newell, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013. Bob Macek will officiate.

Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester, W.Va.
