NEW MANCHESTER – William E. “Pappy” Kuykendall, 57, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004.
He was born in Keyser, W.Va., April 24, 1946, a son of the late Charles Kuykendall and Myrtle Twigg Kuyendall Bell.
He was a former truck driver for New Cumberland Sanitation and served with the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Pickering Kuykendall; three daughters, Deborah Cameron of New Manchester, Shannon Rayle of Mentor, Ohio, and Missy Jones of Paris, Ohio; one son, Everette Shreve of Kittanning, Pa.; a brother, Bobby Kuykendall of New Cumberland; two sisters, Mary Ann Glasure of Minerva and Ethel Lancaster of East Liverpool; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pastor Steve Crabtree will conduct the services at 11 a.m. Monday at the New Cumberland Chapel of the Nixon Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Cumberland Cemetery.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
