MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. – JOHN F. KWASNICK, 79, of Mountain Home, formerly of East Liverpool died Friday, June 14, 1996, at the Baxter County Regional Hospital.
He was born in New Haven, Conn., April 21, 1917, a son of the late Frances and Caroline Lesicka Kwasnik.
A resident of Mountain Home since 1979, he was employed as a steelworker.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Grace VanDyke Kwasnik, whom he married June 12, 1939, two sons, John F. Kwasnik of Louisiana; Richard Kwasnik of East Liverpool; a daughter, Carolyn Wright of Mountain Home; a brother, Edward Kwasnik of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Geneve Jordan, Helen Huff and Stella Williams of Chester; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three sisters.
The Rev. Louis Stephens conducted services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Kirby Funeral Home Chapel, 600 Hospital Drive, Mountain Home, Ark. Burial was in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery, Tucker Cemetery Road, Mountain Home.
