Obituary – Mrs. Margaret Landis

The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Landis, wife of Joseph Landis, who died Friday morning (November 24, 1911) after a week’s illness of typhoid fever, was held yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the family home on West Fifth street. The Rev. Edwin m. Kirby, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church officiated. Interment was made in Riverview cemetery. Mrs. Landis ?5 years of age, was loved and respected by all with whom she came in contact. Christian-like, she was held in the highest esteem and her death is certain to be mourned by a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. In addition to her husband, she is survived by eight children, Mrs. Myrtle Norris, Parkersburg: Arthur Landis and Mrs. James Rigby, East End: Ms Mabel Monigold, Clarence, Guy, Violet and Robert, all of this city.
