Mildred R. Lang, 82, of Beaver Falls, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 18, 2004, in The Medical Center, Beaver.
Born July 22, 1922 in New Waterford, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Inez B. Kerr Rich. She was a member of the Chippewa Alliance Church and a graduate of Beaver Falls High School Class of 1941. She had attended Nyack College in New York and graduated from Geneva College. She was a retired teacher having taught for one year in the Freedom Area School District, nine years in the Columbiana, Ohio Schools and the Perkins School in Sandusky until she retired in 1984. Her hobby was woodworking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, Walter Russell Rich, Jack Richard Rich, Allen Eugene Rich and Robery Harry Rich, and a sister, Kathryn Rich Dever.
She is survived by three sisters, Laura Phillips, Beaver Falls, Alice Stear, Patterson Township and Martha Wright of California and several nieces, nephews and several great nieces and great nephews, and her very close and dear friends, the Jack Kirkpatrick family.
Friends will be received today from 2-4 and 7-9 in the HILL & KUNSELMAN FUNERAL HOME, 3801 4th Avenue, College Hill, Beaver Falls, where a service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday with her pastor, the Rev. Paul Moore, officiating.
Private interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, if desired, to the Chippewa Alliance Church, 3629 37th Street, Etx., Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
