Mrs. Mary E Leatherberry
Wellsville, Jun. 1, 1938 – Mrs. Mary Emma Leatherberry, 68, wife of John C. Leatherberry, died in her home in Yellow Creek township near the Wellsville-Salineville rd. early today following a short illness.
Born in Wayne township, a daughter of Mrs. And Mrs. John A. Hamilton, Mrs. Leatherberry spent virtually her lifetime in this section. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Besides her husband she leaves five sons, Albert and Cloid of Wellsville, Harold, at home and Leroy and Wilfred of Steubenville; five sisters, Mrs. Dell Marsden of Lisbon, Mrs. Ida Carr and Mrs. Elizabeth Crawford of Alliance, Miss Bertha Hamilton of Massillon and Mrs. Stella Brown of Millport, and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the home Saturday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. R. L. Bolon, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be made in Spring Hill cemetery.
