Anna L. Lewis, 78, of Sandusky, died Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, in Providence Care Center.She was born May 16, 1934, in Sibert, Ky.
Anna retired from Ford Motor Co., Sandusky, after 30 years of service.
She was a member of Venice Road Baptist Church, and loved shopping, playing Bingo, and working puzzles.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Angela (Charles) Jeffers, of Monroeville; great-grandsons, Jeffrey and Jordan; daughter-in-law, Patricia Lewis, of Sandusky; sisters, Myrtle (Ned) Tucker, of Bay View, and Ruby (Gerald) Batesole, of Sandusky; brothers, Dewey Sibert, of Sandusky, and Edward (Opal) Sibert, of London, Ky.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeff Lewis; parents, Daniel and Harriet (Hensley) Sibert; sisters, Mary Finley Smith, Minerva Smith and Lilly Weaver; and brothers, Burton Sibert, Howard Sibert, and T.J. Sibert.
Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, and from 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, until funeral services at 11 a.m. at Venice Road Baptist Church, 3814 Venice Road, Sandusky. The Rev. B.R. Hatfield will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
