CHESTER – Gordon Lott, 72, of Chester passed away at home peacefully on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013. He was born Feb. 19, 1941, in East Liverpool, a son of the late David J. and Mary Ann Suter Lott.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sue Ann Watson and Joyce Simons and brother Harold Lott.
Gordon was employed at Arco Chemical as a product handler for 15 years and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
He is survived at home by his loving wife of 22 years Alice Marie Roberts Lott; daughters Tammy Haspel of Follansbee, W.Va., and Cindy Hayhurst of Ohioville, Pa.; three brothers Jay (Mary) Lott of Florida, Larry (Sandy) Lott of Parkersburg, W.Va., and David (Lenora) Lott of St. Clairsville, Ohio; three sisters Carol Lou Jackson of St. Clairsville, Sandy (Chuck) Jamieson of Moon Township and Linda (Steve) Evon of Elco, Pa.; and three grandchildren, Debera, Terra Jo and John.
Pastor Tom Schneidmiller will celebrate Gordon’s life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends are welcome to visit with the family from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
