Frank J. Lovas, 71, of Summit Drive, Calcutta, died this morning at 1 at the Highland Drive Veterans Administration Medical Center in Pittsburgh following a long illness.
He was born her April 6, 1916, a son of the late John Lovas and Mary Deland Lovas.
Mr. Lovas Retired after 40 years employment at the former Crucible Steel Co., and had served with the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and the Trinity Presbyterian Church where he had been a deacon and an elder.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Hall Lovas, whom he married Aug. 30, 1940; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Anne Hilditch of East Liverpool; two sister, Mary Lovas of Midland and Mrs. Barbara Traske of Michigan City, Ind.;and two grandchildren.
The Rev. Dr. H. Gene Toot is to conduct services Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Dawson Funeral Home. Burial is to be in Riverview Cemetery.
