Resident Here 70 Years Succumbs At Home Monday Night.

Elmer Jonathan McDole, 73, potter, and a resident of East Liverpool for about 70 years, died at his home in 931 Orchard Grove avenue, Monday at 10 p.m. following a long illness.

Mr. McDole was born in Pughtown, W.Va, a son of John and Esther McDole. He came to this city when a baby. He was last employed as a kiln drawer at the C.C.Thompson pottery.

The deceased leaves three sons, Clarence, Raymond and Willard McDole, all of East Liverpool; two daughters, Olive, at home, and Mrs George Hayes of Lisbon; three sisters, Mrs. George T. Blake of Columbus, Mrs. Vince Moon of Crooksville and Mrs. James Crofts of Willows, Cal.; one granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the home Thursday at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. R. T Lowman, pastor of the Orchard Grove Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.

Friends are asked to call at the home Wednesday night.
