Guy J. McMillen, Jr., 83, of the Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Harmony (Jackson Township), Butler County, formerly of Patterson Township, died Friday, August 17, 2012.

Born October 14, 1928, in Glenwillard, he was the son of the late Guy J. Sr. and Harriet Anderson McMillen. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during World War II. He had retired from the Aliquippa & Southern Railroad, where he had been an engineer. He was a member of the Riverview United Methodist Church and had been a Mason and former member of the Parian Lodge No. 662.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wilhelmina Scheeler McMillen, in 1988.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Angela McMillen, Las Vegas, NV; a daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Jim Rombold, North Sewickley Township; a sister and brother-in-law, Olive and George Botinovch, White Township; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Mary Kay McMillen, Patterson Township, and William and Susan McMillen, Florida; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

As per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no public visitation.

A private memorial service will be held for the family with his niece, the Rev. Harriet Hutton, officiating.

Private interment in the Grandview Cemetery, Big Beaver.
