MOSTI, Anne M., 88, of Steubenville died Friday, November 30, 2012, at the Forbes Hospice at Western Pennsylvania Hospital, Pittsburgh.

She was born March 11, 1924, in Steubenville. She is the daughter of the late Milan and Sophie Vukelic Krnich.

Anne is also preceded in death by her husband, Myron E. Mosti, Two, brothers, Peter and George “Jiggs” Krnich and two sisters, Mildred Jessic and Stella Krnich.

Anne was a member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and the Women’s Auxiliary of the Alpha Phi Delta fraternity.

Surviving are one son, Douglas Mosti of Hankey Farms, PA; and one daughter, Ellen (Wendell) Barner of Little Rock, AR.

Also surviving are one nephew, Stanley “Butch” Jessic, Jr (Kathy) of Weirton; two nieces, Georgia Toothman of Bloomingdale, Marie Schmidt (Rick) of Verona, Pa.; great-nephews, Ted Toothman of Bloomingdale, Peter Jessic of Pittsburgh, Stephen Jessic of Glenwood Springs, Colo. and Michael Schmidt of Verona; and great-nieces, Amy Toothman of Wintersville and Betsy Looman (Bob) of Bloomingdale.

Anne was an active member of the Band Boosters at the former Wintersville High School and the PTA at the former Stark Elementary School and was an avid baker.

Calling hours are Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville,OH and on Tuesday from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m. Rev. Philip Makari will officiate.

Burial will be at the Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Cemetery, Steubenville.
